We bring every CQC-registered home care provider in the areas we cover into one place, so you can compare them on the things that matter – their latest Care Quality Commission rating, the services they offer and how to get in touch – without trawling through directories or cold-calling agencies.

We are a directory and enquiry service, not a care agency. We do not deliver care ourselves and we do not rank providers by who pays us.

Where our information comes from

Every provider profile is built from the public register of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. That is where the provider name, registered location, service types and inspection rating come from. CQC ratings are a point-in-time snapshot, so we always encourage you to confirm the current rating on the CQC website before you make a decision.

Our guides are written by our care research team and reviewed by a qualified clinician before publication. We do not publish AI-generated filler, and we do not quote costs or figures without a clear, dated source.

How we stay free for families

Using In Touch Home Care is free for families, with no obligation. We keep it that way through the provider side of the service: care providers can claim their profile, upgrade to a featured listing, or receive enquiries from families who are actively looking. Paying for a featured listing improves how a provider is presented – it never changes their CQC rating or buys a better one.
